The Aterna Academy — Building the Next Generation of Silicon Architects.

Technology transfers hardware.
The Academy transfers capability.

Technology transfers hardware. The Academy transfers capability.

The Human Capital Problem

A sovereign silicon programme that depends on foreign engineers to design, validate, and evolve its architecture is not truly sovereign. The deepest form of technological dependency is not hardware — it is knowledge. Nations that have historically imported compute have also imported the expertise to understand and operate it. Breaking this dependency requires a deliberate, structured investment in domestic human capital.

The Aterna Academy is that investment.

Program Tracks

Track 1: Lie-Algebraic Computation

Mathematical foundations of FIL, Lie group theory, and algebraic logic design. For mathematicians and computer scientists entering deep-tech research dependency

Track 2: RTL Design & Verification

Register-transfer level design for FIL-native circuits. Formal verification methods. FPGA prototyping and silicon bring-up. For hardware engineers.

Track 3: Sovereign Systems Architecture

Integration of FIL hardware into sovereign cloud, critical infrastructure, and edge compute environments. For systems architects and technology officers.

Track 4: Post-Quantum Security

Algebraic cryptography, NIST PQC standard implementation, and hardware-level security architecture. For security engineers and government technology advisors.

Partnership Structure

The Academy operates in partnership with Kingdom of Saudi Arabia universities and research institutions, with curriculum developed jointly by Aterna’s research team and academic partners. Graduates of Academy programs will be eligible for direct employment within Aterna’s Saudi Arabia operations and with sovereign partners deploying Aterna infrastructure.

Vision 2030 Alignment

Vision 2030’s technology objectives — a diversified digital economy, a domestic technology sector, reduced import dependency — require not just infrastructure but the human capability to design, build, and evolve it. The Aterna Academy is a direct contribution to the knowledge economy that Vision 2030 describes.
